Overview
This guide will show you how to edit the pricing options for a session in your Hapana Core account. You might need to update session pricing if you are offering new promotions, adjusting standard rates, or changing class access requirements.
Keeping session pricing accurate ensures a smooth client booking experience and correct billing.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to Hapana Core.
- Your login details for core.hapana.com/login.
- The session must already exist in your schedule.
Step 1: Log in to Hapana Core
- Open your browser and go to core.hapana.com/login.
- Enter your login credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the Schedule
- Click Schedule on the top menu bar.
Tip: If you are managing multiple locations, make sure you are viewing the correct location before proceeding.
Step 3: Select the Class to Edit
- Use the calendar view to find the session you want to edit.
- Click on the session name to open its details.
Step 4: Open the Edit Menu
- Click the pencil icon next to the session title to edit.
Step 5: Choose Edit Type
- If the session is part of a recurring series, choose whether you want to:
- Edit ALL Future Sessions
- Edit Only This Session
Tip: Choose "Edit Only This Session" if the pricing change is temporary or specific to one date.
Step 6: Update Payment Settings
- Scroll down to the Payment Required section.
- Set Payment Required to Yes if clients must pay for this session.
- Set Payment Required to No if the session should be free.
Step 7: Adjust Drop-In Price
- In the Drop-in Price field, enter the new price for drop-in clients.
Step 8: Set Credits Required
- In the Credits Required field, enter the number of credits clients must have to book the session.
Step 9: Save Your Changes
- Click Save to apply all changes.
Expected Outcome
Your session’s pricing options will be updated immediately. Clients booking the session will see the correct drop-in price and/or credit requirements.
FAQs
Q: Will editing the price affect people already booked?
A: No, existing bookings usually retain the original terms unless you manually update them.
Q: What happens if I select “Edit ALL Future Sessions”?
A: It will update pricing for every session linked in the future, not just the one selected.
Q: Can I change the tax settings here too?
A: Yes, you can also adjust the taxable settings under the Taxable Settings dropdown during this process.
