Sync Data Using Zapier Integration

Overview

This article will guide you through syncing data between GROW and external systems using Zapier. Whether you’re sending data from GROW to another app or receiving it the other way around, this integration helps automate your workflows—saving you time and effort.

Tip: Zapier works great with apps like Google Sheets, Slack, Mailchimp, and many CRMs!

Prerequisites

  • You must have a Zapier account.
  • Install the GROW by Hapana Zapier app: Accept Invite Here.
  • Access to the GROW Business Settings Page to retrieve your API key.

Step 1: Install GROW by Hapana App in Zapier

  1. Open the GROW Zapier invite link.
  2. Accept the invitation and install the app into your Zapier account.

Step 2: Get Your API Key from GROW

  1. Log in to GROW.
  2. Go to the Business Settings Page.
  3. Find your API Key, then click the clipboard icon to copy it.

Tip: You’ll use this key to authenticate your Zapier connection.


Step 3: Create Your Zap

  1. In Zapier, click Create Zap.
  2. Select GROW by Hapana as either the trigger or action app depending on your use case.
  3. Connect your GROW instance by pasting your API key.
  4. Configure the rest of your Zap by selecting events, apps, and mapping fields.

  • Pipeline Stage Changed: Automate workflows when a lead moves stages.
  • Custom webhook (via GROW workflows): For advanced custom automation.

Note: If your GROW instance is synced with CORE, GROW data may be overwritten based on email matches.


Step 4: Use GROW Webhooks as Triggers (Optional)

  1. In Zapier, select Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger.
  2. Choose Catch Hook and leave the child key blank.
  3. Copy the generated Webhook URL.
  4. In GROW, create or edit a workflow and add a Webhook step.
  5. Paste the Zapier URL into the webhook destination field.
  6. In Zapier, click Test Trigger to confirm data is received.
