Overview
A new security feature now requires users to re-enter their password when switching between locations that belong to different Brands or Corporate IDs, within the Core platform. This additional authentication step helps protect sensitive information by ensuring that only authorized users can access data across multiple brands. If the location switch occurs within the same Brand or Corporate ID, no password prompt is necessary.
Use Cases
-
Prevent unauthorized access: Ensure that users switching between locations of different Brands or Corporate IDs re-authenticate to protect sensitive business data.
-
Secure multi-location management: Users managing multiple fitness centres can now confidently secure data across different locations and brands.
-
Strengthen user validation: Instructors and employees with access to multiple locations must re-enter their password to verify access when switching between different brands, enhancing platform security.
-
Improve security without disrupting workflows: The system maintains a seamless user experience when switching locations within the same Brand or Corporate ID.
Limitations
-
Minor user inconvenience: The additional password prompt may slightly slow down the location-switching process, but the trade-off is a significant improvement in security.
