Zip Code can now be applied as a separate, mandatory field during client sign-up—independent of the full address field. This helps businesses collect essential location data without requiring the entire address, supporting more targeted data use and reporting.
Key Updates
- Flexible Zip Code Field Options:
- Standalone Zip Code Field: A new toggle in Account Settings > Configuration > Client Sign-Up Fields lets business users choose to display only the Zip Code field without requiring a full address.
- Mandatory Zip Code Option: When the Zip Code toggle is set to “Required,” clients must provide their zip code during sign-up, with the full address.
- Display Logic Based on Configuration:
- Zip Code Only: If the Zip Code field is enabled and the Address field is off, only the Zip Code will appear during sign-up.
- Address Only: If Address is enabled but Zip Code is toggled off, Zip Code will remain part of the Address field (without a separate input).
- Both Enabled: If both Address and Zip Code are enabled, only one unified Zip Code field will be shown as part of the Address section.
