Overview

This guide shows you how to export reports in Brand Controls. You can choose the data, customize the columns, and download everything as a CSV. Perfect for sharing with your team or importing into other tools.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

 

  1. Log in to Brand Controls and click the Exports icon. This takes you to the reporting center.

2. Click on Location reports

3. The system will display a list of available reports that can be exported as a CSV

4. Select a report and click on Generate

5. The system will open a sidebar to allow you to customize the report.

6. Select one or multiple locations from check list.

7. Use the dropdown menus to select the columns you would like included on the report being viewed. Note: columns available will be dependent on the report selected.

8. Check the columns you desire.

9. Similarly use the dropdown menu to select custom properties for your report (if applicable)

10. Click on Request as CSV

When you click to request as CSV, the system will start to process your request, it might take a while.

11. To view your export request, click on the export widget on the top right corner of the page.

12. The exports widget will be visible throughout the whole system and will keep the list and status of all your requests

13. You can generate as many reports as you want, they will all be listed on the exports widgets, whether it's a Location report or a Key Performance report.

14. Click on the export widget to download the requested report. The report will be automatically start downloading as a CSV file, ready for use.

15. Once the report has been successfully generated, you will receive an automated email notification from our system. This email will include a link that allows you to download the report directly to your device. In addition to the email notification, the report will also be accessible through the Exports widget within the platform, where you can download it at your convenience.



Troubleshooting / FAQs

 

Q: Why isn’t my report showing up in the widget?

A: Give it a few minutes — larger exports can take time to generate. Make sure you clicked Request as CSV.

 

Q: Can I run multiple reports at once?

A: Yes! All active and past exports appear in the Export widget, regardless of report type.

 

Q: Can I filter or customize every report?

A: Not all reports allow custom columns or properties — the sidebar will show available options for each report.

 

Q: What are the differences between reports in CORE and Brands Exports?

A: The key difference between the reports on Brands and CORE is that the Brands Exports can include data from multiple locations while the CORE reports are location specific.
