Store Multiple Payment Methods in Client "Wallet"

Overview

Clients can now store, manage, and set default payment methods directly from their account. This guide shows you how the Enhanced Client Wallet feature works and how it helps you offer a better billing experience.

 

Prerequisites

• Client has an active Hapana account

• Client has billing access via the app

• App version updated to the latest release

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

 

Accessing the Wallet

  • Open the app and log into your account.
  • Navigate to More, in the bottom menu bar.
  • Tap Billing Information.
  • You’ll now see a new section called Wallet.

 

Tip: If you don’t see Wallet, check if your app needs updating or contact support.

 

Add a New Payment Method

  • Inside the Wallet, tap Add New Payment Method.
  • Enter the required card or bank information.
  • Save the new method.

 

 

Tip: Clients can store up to 5 different payment methods!

 

Set a Default Payment Method

  • Find the payment method you want to set as default.
  • Tap the three-dot menu next to it.
  • Select Set as Default.

 

Tip: The default method will automatically be used for one-time payments unless changed.

 

 

Update or Delete a Payment Method

  • Choose the pencil icon to update details OR
  • Tap the three-dot menu next to the method you want to delete and select Delete payment method. 

 

Tip: If a payment method is linked to an active membership or billing schedule, it can’t be deleted until it’s unlinked.

 

Expected Outcome

 

After following these steps, clients will be able to:

• Manage up to 5 stored payment methods

• Easily switch or update cards and bank accounts

• Assign a preferred payment method for faster billing

 

Troubleshooting / FAQs

 

Q: Why can’t I delete a payment method?

A: If the method is tied to an active membership or billing, you’ll need to update your billing details first.

 

Q: How many payment methods can a client store?

A: Clients can store up to 5 different payment methods in their Wallet.

 

Q: What happens if a default payment method fails?

A: Clients can manually choose an alternate stored payment method to complete the payment.
