Overview
This guide shows you how to reorder session types in your Schedule Templates in Core. Reordering helps you keep your most-used or most relevant sessions at the top, making schedule setup quicker and easier for everyone on your team.
Prerequisites
• You must have access to Core
• You must be able to access Schedule Settings
• A Schedule Template must be created or ready to edit
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Login to Core
- Navigate to Schedule > Schedule Settings > Schedule Templates
- Click the Pencil Icon alongside an existing template to open or click the Create Template Icon to start from scratch.
- Click the Pencil Icon alongside the Session Types dropdown menu

Either Drag and drop to move items up or down or use the Move Up or Move Down buttons next to each session typs
Save your changes
- Once you’ve reordered your list, click Update Template or Save and update all future sessions.
- Your custom session type order will now display consistently when working with this Schedule Template
Expected outcome
You’ll see your session types in the new order anytime you access or edit that Schedule Template. Everyone at your location will share the same custom order.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: Will this change affect my current bookings?
A: No, reordering session types won’t change any scheduled sessions—it only changes how they appear in the setup screen.
Q: Can each staff member have their own custom order?
A: Not right now. The order is shared for all users at the same location.
Q: Can I reorder session types for different locations separately?
A: Yes. Each location manages its own Schedule Template order.
