Overview

This guide shows you how to pause or cancel a scheduled email in Grow. If you’ve scheduled a marketing email but need to stop or delay it — maybe the timing changed or you spotted a mistake — you can easily manage it without deleting your entire campaign or workflow. This helps fitness studios stay flexible with their communications and avoid sending emails at the wrong time.

Prerequisites

  • Access to your Grow account
  • An existing Email Campaign or Workflow with a scheduled email

Step 1: Go to your scheduled emails

  1. Click Marketing from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select the Emails tab and navigate to campaigns.

Tip: If you don’t see any emails under “Scheduled,” it means no emails are currently pending delivery.

Step 2: Choose the email you want to manage

  1. Find the scheduled email you want to pause or cancel.

  2. Hover over the email and click the three dots (⋮) on the right.

  3. Select Pause or Cancel, depending on what you need to accomplish.

Tip: Use Pause if you may want to resume sending later. Use Cancel if you don’t want it sent at all.

Step 3: Confirm your action

  1. A confirmation popup will appear.
  2. Click Yes to confirm and stop the scheduled email.

Tip: Once an email is cancelled, it cannot be scheduled again, you will need to clone it — make sure you're certain before confirming.

Expected outcome

Your email will no longer be sent at the scheduled time. If paused, you’ll have the option to resume it later. If cancelled, it will be removed from the send queue entirely.

FAQs

Q: What happens if I pause an email and forget to resume it?

A: It will stay paused indefinitely and won’t be sent until you manually resume it.

Q: Can I edit a paused email?

A: Yes — pausing gives you the opportunity to make updates before sending.

Q: Is there a way to reschedule a canceled email?

A: You’ll need to create a new email or duplicate the original and set a new send time.
