Send a regular email campaign (Send Now, Schedule or Batch)

Overview

This guide walks you through how to send a regular email campaign in GROW — either immediately or scheduled for later. Use this when you want to reach a group of contacts with time-sensitive updates, promotions, announcements, or newsletters.


Prerequisites

Before you start:

  • You must have access to the Marketing tab in GROW
  • You need an email template prepared and saved
  • Your contact list must be ready (Smart List, tags or manually selected contacts)
  • A verified sending domain must be set up in your location

Step 1: Go to Email Campaigns

  1. In the left-hand menu, click Marketing.

  2. Click the Emails tab and navigate to campaigns.


Step 2: Create a new campaign or navigate to an unsent campaign

  1. Click the + New button or navigate to your campaign.


Step 3 (If using a Template): Choose an email template

  1. Select an existing email template from your saved list.

  2. Name your email by selecting the pencil at the top of the page.

  3. Build your email or edit template as needed.

  4. Click “Send Or Schedule” in the top right when ready to proceed.


Step 4: Select your recipients

  1. Ensure the appropriate fields are filled out such as sender address, name and subject line (these will be auto filled if already in the email template).
  2. Choose whom you would like to send the email to.
  3. You can select: individual contacts, contacts within a smart list, contacts that have a certain tag or contacts within pre built segments.
    • Individual Contacts - Select the recipients manually.
    • Send to Smart List - Send to all contacts within a smart list.
    • Choose contacts from Tags - Send to contacts that have a certain tag.
    • Pre-Built Segments - Contacts engaged within x amount of days.

Tip: Always double-check your list before continuing — once sent, emails cannot be recalled.


Step 5: Send now or schedule

  1. You have three options select the correct one for you use fill out the details and click send/schedule
    • Send Now – Sends the email immediately

    • Schedule – Choose a future date and time to send

    • Batch Schedule - Choose a future date and time to send out in a drip mode rather than all at once

Tip: If scheduling, choose a time that matches your audience’s behavior — like early morning or mid-afternoon.


Expected outcome

Your email campaign will be sent to the selected contacts either immediately or at your chosen time. You can track performance (opens, clicks, etc.) under the Email Campaigns tab after sending.


Troubleshooting / FAQs

Q: Can I edit a campaign after clicking “Send”?

A: No. Once a campaign is sent, it cannot be edited (unless its scheduled to be sent in the future) or recalled.

Q: Where do I see open and click results?

A: Go back to the Statistics tab under Marketing > Emails to view performance stats, or view via bulk actions on the contacts screen..

Q: Can I duplicate a campaign to reuse later?

A: Yes. You can clone an existing campaign and update the content or recipient list as needed.
