Overview

This guide shows you how to save a draft message when you're working in the Conversations tab in GROW. Drafts help you pause mid-reply without losing what you've typed — perfect for when you need to check details or step away before sending.

Prerequisites

Before you begin:

  • You must have access to the Conversations tab in GROW
  • You should be replying to or starting a new conversation
  • Your browser session must remain active to retain the draft

Step 1: Open a conversation

  1. From the left-hand menu, click Conversations.

  2. Choose any conversation you want to respond to from the inbox list and click the message to open the message thread.

Step 2: Type your message

  1. In the message field, begin typing your reply, You can type SMS, email, or any message format supported in the conversation.

Step 3: Your draft is saved automatically

  • As you type, GROW automatically saves your draft.
  • If you leave the conversation without sending, your text will still be there when you come back — as long as you're on the same device and browser session.

Tip: Drafts are saved per conversation, so you can move between messages without losing work.

Expected outcome

Your unsent message will remain in the message field when you return to that conversation, allowing you to continue where you left off without starting over.

Troubleshooting / FAQs

Q: Do drafts sync across devices or users?

A: No. Drafts are local to your current browser session and device. Other users won’t see your draft.

Q: Can I save multiple drafts at once?

A: Yes. Each conversation can hold one saved draft. You can leave drafts in multiple conversations and return to them as needed.

Q: What happens if I clear my browser or log out?

A: The draft will be lost. Make sure to send or copy your message before ending your session.
