Overview

This guide shows you how to add CC (carbon copy) and BCC (blind carbon copy) recipients when composing emails in GROW contact profiles. These fields are helpful when you want to include other contacts in an email thread — either visibly (CC) or privately (BCC).

Prerequisites

Before you begin:

  • You must have access to the Email Composer in GROW
  • You should already be working within an email campaign, bulk email, or direct contact message
  • The contacts you want to CC or BCC must have valid email addresses

Step 1: Open the email composer

  1. Go to the recipients profile in GROW.

  2. Click Send Email to open the email composer window.

Step 2: Click “CC/BCC” to expand options

  1. In the email composer, look for the CC/BCC button next to the To field.

  2. Click it to expand the additional email fields.

Tip: If you don’t see CC/BCC fields right away, they are hidden by default — clicking the button reveals them.

Step 3: Enter your CC and BCC addresses

  1. In the CC field, add any email addresses you want to include as visible recipients.

  2. In the BCC field, add any email addresses you want to include as hidden recipients.

  3. Complete your email subject and message as usual.

Tip: Make sure all email addresses are correct. Invalid addresses may cause delivery issues.

Expected outcome

Your email will be sent with the added CC and/or BCC recipients included. CC’d contacts will see each other’s addresses, while BCC’d contacts remain hidden from all recipients.

Troubleshooting / FAQs

Q: Can I CC or BCC multiple addresses?

A: Yes. Just separate each email address with a comma in the CC or BCC field.

Q: Will BCC recipients see replies?

A: BCC contacts will receive the initial message but are not included in future replies unless manually added.

Q: Why don’t I see the CC/BCC option?

A: The fields are hidden by default. You must click the CC/BCC button next to the To field to reveal them.
