[Contacts](https://support.hapana.com/marketing-solutions?hsLang=en#contacts) # Export contacts into a CSV file **Prerequisites** Before you begin, make sure: - You have access to the **Contacts** section in GROW - You know which contacts you want to export - Your role includes permission to download data --- ### **Step 1: Go to your Contacts** 1. Log into your GROW dashboard. 2. If you want to export a specific group (e.g. leads from a certain campaign or timeframe), click **+ Add Filter or apply the appropriate Smart List**. 2. Choose your filters, like **Tag**, **Date Added**, or **Pipeline Stage if not using a Smart List**. 3. Your list will update based on the filters or Smart List you choose. > **Tip:** Want all contacts? Skip this step and move to Step 3. --- ### **Step 3: Select contacts to export** 1. If you want to export all filtered contacts (not just the current page), a prompt will appear — click **Select all \[X\] records**. 3. Unless you have selected to show more per page be sure to click “Select all records” if you want more than just what’s showing. --- ### **Step 4: Export your contacts** 1. A CSV file will begin downloading to your device. > Tip: The exported file will include common fields like name, email, phone, tags. If you’d like to add more fields to the csv document, you must select those fields from the Columns dropdown. --- **Expected outcome** You’ll have a downloadable CSV file with the contact details you selected.
