How to Reactivate a Member from Alumni or Removed Status

Overview

Need to bring a past client back into your studio? Whether they’ve been set to Alumni, Removed, or just haven’t held a membership in a while, reactivating them in CORE is simple. This guide shows you how to update their status and assign a new membership or package.

Prerequisites

Before you begin:

  • The client must already exist in your Clients list
  • You must have billing and admin access
  • Know which membership or pack the client will be reactivating with

Step-by-step instructions


Step 1: Search for the client

  1. Go to the Clients section
  2. Use the search bar to locate the client (even if their status is Alumni or Removed)

✅ Tip: You can reactivate anyone still in your client list — no need to re-create their profile.


Step 2: Update their status to Active

  1. Filter clients by selecting Action drop down menu
  2. Find client and click on Update status gear icon
  3. Click on the current Status (e.g. Alumni or Removed)
  4. Choose Active from the dropdown menu
  5. Click Update Status, then Confirm

🔄 This reactivates the client, allowing them to log in, book sessions, and access the app again.


Step 3: Add a new membership or pack

  1. Go to Payments > New Sale
  2. Select the client
  3. Choose a Membership or Package
  4. Add to cart and check out with their preferred payment method

💡 If a client is already Active but has no membership, selling a new one is all you need to do — no status change required.


Expected outcome

The client is now active, can access your app or schedule, and has a current membership or package assigned.


FAQs

Q: What if the client was marked as “Deleted”?

A: You’ll need to re-add them manually if they were permanently removed from the system.

Q: Will the client be notified when reactivated?

A: Not automatically — you’ll need to contact them or send a welcome email if needed.

Q: Can I move someone directly from Removed to Active?

A: Yes — just update their status from their profile.
