Overview

Shared location access allows members to use their membership benefits across multiple business locations, not just their designated home site. This feature is ideal for businesses operating in multiple areas or for clients who move between sites frequently.

This guide shows you how to enable shared location access in a membership’s settings.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to Hapana Core
  • An existing membership or package in Retail Configuration
  • Knowledge of which locations should be included in the shared access

Step 1 – Navigate to Membership Configuration

  • Go to Payments > Retail Configuration > Session Packages/Memberships
  • Click on Create New or the pencil icon to edit an existing package or membership

Step 2 – Enable Shared Location Access

  • Scroll to the Shared Business Location section
  • Choose one of the following options:
    • All Locations: Toggle Allows access to every location in your business
    • Selected Locations: Manually pick which sites the member can visit
  • Check or uncheck locations as required

Tip: If your business is frequently adding new sites, the All Locations option ensures clients won’t lose access due to admin oversight.

Step 3 – Save the Membership Settings

  • Scroll to the bottom and click Edit Package
  • Your membership is now configured with shared access as defined

Expected Outcome

Clients purchasing this membership will be able to check in and use services at all designated locations. This can help increase booking flexibility and improve client satisfaction.

FAQs

Q: Can I change the shared access settings after a membership is sold?

A: Yes. You can edit the client’s access via their Membership settings in their profile.

Q: Does shared access affect session credit use?

A: No. Credits and billing remain the same—it only determines where they can use their benefits.

Q: Can I limit access to specific sessions or times per location?

A: Session-specific access must be configured through Session Type settings, not via shared location access alone.
