How to Delete a Client Account

Overview

Need to remove a client from your database? You can fully delete a client profile in CORE, but only after all linked items like memberships, packs, or outstanding payments are cleared. This guide walks you through the exact steps — and what to check first.

Prerequisites

Before you begin:

  • You must have admin access to the Clients section
  • The client’s active packages, memberships, or billing items must be resolved or removed
  • You must confirm the client is not linked to any active relations or waitlists

Step-by-step instructions


Step 1: Find the client

  1. Click Clients in the top nav
  2. Use the search bar to locate the client’s name
  3. Click on the client to open their profile
  4. Go to the Client Information tab and scroll down to the bottom


Step 2: Attempt to delete the client

  1. Click the Delete Account toggle
  2. If the client has unresolved items (e.g. active memberships, scheduled payments), a warning will pop up
  3. You will need to resolve all listed items before you can proceed

⚠️ Tip: You cannot delete a client who still has:

  • Active or pending memberships
  • Outstanding invoices
  • Linked relationships or open packages

Step 3: Finalize deletion

  1. Once all items are resolved, scroll to the Delete Account section again
  2. Click the toggle
  3. Click Confirm when prompted
  4. The client’s account and all associated data will be permanently deleted


Step 4: View deleted clients (optional)

  1. Return to the Clients page
  2. Switch to the Deleted Clients tab
  3. You’ll see a list of accounts removed from the system

Note: Deleted clients no longer appear in searches and cannot be restored once deleted.


Expected outcome

The client’s profile will be permanently removed from your active client list and database once all linked actions are resolved and the deletion is confirmed.


FAQs

Q: Why can’t I delete a client?

A: They likely have active packages, memberships, or pending payments. Clear all these first before trying again.

Q: Can I recover a deleted client?

A: No — once deleted, a client account cannot be restored. Double-check before confirming deletion.

Q: Will this remove all payment history and class attendance?

A: Yes — deleting a client permanently removes their account history from CORE.
