Want to ensure someone on your team stays in the loop every time a client gets a system email? You can CC any email address on automated triggers, like welcome emails, so managers or staff are notified when an email is sent.
This is great for keeping your team informed without manually forwarding messages.

Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- You should have admin permissions for Account Settings
- Make sure you know which email trigger you want to CC
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Open your location settings
- Click your Location Name in the top right of your dashboard
- Select Account Settings
- Click into Configurations
Tip: These settings apply to all automations set up in your location.
Step 2: Edit your email trigger settings
- Scroll down to the section labeled Customize Emails triggered by Hapana
- Click Edit next to the triggers area
Step 3: Choose the trigger to update
- You’ll see a list of available email triggers (like “Welcome email to member”)
- Click the pencil icon ✏️ next to the one you want to update
Step 4: Add your CC email
- In the email editor, look for the field called CC Email
- Type the email address of the person you want to CC
- Click Save
Tip: You can CC multiple people by separating emails with commas.
Expected outcome
Once saved, the chosen email trigger will send a copy to the address(es) you entered, automatically keeping teammates in the loop.

Q: Who should I CC?
A: Common choices include owners, studio managers, or front desk staff who want visibility into automated messages.
Q: Can the client see who’s CC’d?
A: Yes — CCs show just like a regular email, so anyone copied will be visible.
Q: Can I remove the CC later?
A: Absolutely. Return to the same trigger, delete the email from the CC Email field, and click Save.
