Schedule templates in CORE save you time and ensure consistency when creating classes. Whether it’s boxing, strength, private sessions, or workshops — each class type should have its own template. This allows your team to quickly schedule sessions with all the right details already set.
This article walks you through how to create a schedule template, including session descriptions, drop-in pricing, credit rules, and optional settings like waitlists and feedback.

Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- You must have admin access to schedule settings
- Locations and rooms should be configured ahead of time
- Decide if your classes will be drop-in, credit-based, or both
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Go to Schedule Templates
- Click Schedule in the top navigation
- Click the cog icon ⚙️ in the corner
- Select Schedule Templates
Step 2: Create a new class template
- Click the + icon to create a new template
- In Session Name, enter the class title (e.g. Boxing)
- Choose the Session Type from the dropdown
Step 3: Add session description and visuals

Write a class description (e.g. “50-minute class focused on boxing techniques”)

Set Items Supplied (e.g. gloves, towel)

Add Items to Bring (e.g. wraps, water bottle)

Select Duration (e.g. 50 minutes)

Choose your Location

Pick a Room if applicable

Upload a Session Image
Tip: Images appear in the app when clients view classes and enhance the visual appeal.
Step 4: Define session rules and pricing
- Set Session Size (e.g. 30 attendees)
- Choose a Drop-in Price if allowed (e.g. $25)
- Leave blank if you require memberships or packs
- Set Credits Required (e.g. 1 = one class)
- Toggle Display as Class = Yes
- Enable Booking Requests = Yes only for private sessions
- Toggle Payment Required = Yes (recommended)
- Set Waitlist Limit (e.g. 5 spots)
- Toggle Session Feedback = Yes (if you want post-class feedback)
Step 5: Save and apply the template
- Click Create Template
- Go back to the Schedule view
- Use your new template to add a session to the calendar
