Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- You need at least two active client accounts
- You must have admin access to edit client profiles or process sales
- Know which client will be the payer and which will be the recipient
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Set up the relationship between two clients
- Go to the Clients section and open the profile of the first client (payer or recipient)
- Click the Client Information tab
- Click Edit, then scroll to the Relations section
- Search for the other client by name or email
- Select the correct client and click Save
- Repeat the steps from the second client’s profile to create a two-way relationship (optional but recommended)
Tip: Setting the relation both ways lets either client pay for the other in flexible booking or sales scenarios.
Step 2: Use the relation in a new sale
- Go to Payments > New Sale
- Click Add Client and choose the client who is receiving the membership or package
- A dropdown will appear showing their related clients
- Select the related client who will be paying
- Complete the sale — the payer’s payment method will be charged
✅ You’ll see a label showing “Paid for by” in the client record after completing the sale.
Step 3: Add relations during a new sale
If you didn’t pre-set the relation in the client file:
- From the New Sale screen, click Add Client
- Then click Add Relations
- Search for the second client and select them
- This links them temporarily for the sale and also stores the relation in their profiles
Expected outcome
Once set up, one client can pay for another’s services — either manually through CORE or automatically during a sale — with clear visibility on who is paying for whom.
