Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- You must have access to the Reports module in CORE
- Make sure your user role includes permissions to save and manage reports
Step-by-step instructions
1. Open the reports module
- Click Reports in the top navigation bar
- Scroll through the main report categories:
- Clients and Attendance
- Marketing
- Financial
- Staff
- Inventory
Tip: If you're managing your own reporting needs, you can create a custom category to keep everything organized.
2. Apply filters to a report
- Choose a report — for example, New Client Report
- Add any filters you need (e.g. Package Name, Date Range, etc.)
- Click Apply
Tip: Always hit Apply after adding filters to make sure they're active.
3. Save your custom report
- Once your report is filtered, click Save Report
- Give your report a name — e.g. New Clients
- Under Category, you can:
- Choose an existing category, OR
- Click Create New Category and name it (e.g. My Reports or your brand name)
- Click Save Report
4. View your saved custom report
- Go back to the main Reports page
- You’ll now see your new category listed on the left
- Click on your saved report — filters will be automatically applied
Tip: This is a great way to save time if you regularly run the same filtered reports.
Expected outcome
You’ll have a custom report category with one or more saved reports — each pre-filtered and ready to run with one click.
FAQs

A: Currently, categories can't be renamed after creation. You’ll need to make a new one and re-save your reports under it.
Q: Can I share my saved reports with teammates?
A: Yes, saved reports are visible to others with access to Reports (based on their role permissions).
Q: What if I forget to apply filters before saving?
A: The saved report will show unfiltered data. Always double-check that your filters are applied before saving.
