Overview
You can now redeem gift cards directly during the checkout process via the app. This makes it easier for members to use their gift card balance toward purchases, creating a smoother and more flexible experience.
Prerequisites
- The client must have a valid gift card with an active balance.
Redeem a Gift Card at Checkout
1. Start the checkout process
- Go to the Point of Sale screen on the app.
- Select the items or services your client wants to purchase.
Tip: You can add multiple items before applying payment.
2. Apply the gift card
- At the payment screen, choose Redeem a Gift Card as the payment method.
- Enter in the gift card code.
- Select 'Apply gift card'
- The gift card will redeem and the amount will be added to your account credits.
Tip: If the gift card doesn’t cover the full amount, you can split the payment using other methods.
3. Complete the payment
- Once the gift card is applied, select 'Use your account credits'
- Select the amount you wish to apply and tap 'Apply'
- Finalize the transaction by selecting Activate.
Expected Outcome
The gift card balance will be automatically applied to the purchase. Any remaining balance can be used for future transactions. Navigate to More > Billing Information > Account Balance to view the remaining balance.
