View Secondary Recurring Fees on Mobile App

Overview

You can now include a secondary recurring fee—like an annual facility or improvement fee—on memberships which clients can view in the app. This makes it easy to support complex billing models often used by larger fitness chains.

Prerequisites

  • Feature must be enabled at the core level during membership setup. See our Configure Secondary Recurring Fees article for further information.
  • By default, the secondary recurring fee is disabled.
  • Available only for memberships (not for once-off products or packages).

View Secondary Recurring Fee on the Mobile App

1. Navigate to available packages

  1. Open the Mobile App.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu on the bottom right.
  3. Select Buy New Package.

 

2. View Membership offers

  1. Tap any membership listed to view more details.
  2. If a secondary recurring fee is configured, it will display with:
    • Amount
    • Billing cycle (e.g., yearly)

  1. Tap 'Select and continue'
  2. Under Next Billing, you'll see the Secondary Recurring Fee listed along with the membership price.

Tip: This helps members understand their full future payment obligations before completing the transaction.

 

                                                        

 

Failed or Outstanding Payments

If a payment fails and includes a secondary recurring fee, the member will see this clearly labeled in their Failed/Outstanding Payments section.

Tip: Clients can retry payments as usual from the Home screen by selecting the failed charge and choosing an available payment method.

 

Expected Outcome

Clients will be able to clearly view and track secondary recurring fees tied to memberships. These fees are transparently displayed throughout the app—from purchase to billing history—ensuring members always understand their charges.
