Sometimes clients can’t use all their credits before the expiry date — life happens. This guide shows you how to extend the validity of package credits so your client can continue using their sessions without stress.

Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- Make sure the client has an active or expired package
- Know the new credit expiry date you want to apply
- Understand this only applies to packages, not memberships
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Find the client and their package
- Go to the Clients section
- Search for and open the client’s profile
- Scroll to find the package in question
- Click View history
Step 2: Update the credit validity
- Click Update credits
- Look for the section labelled Credit validity
- Enter a new expiry date for the package credits
- You can extend the date forward as needed
- Click Save
Tip: This is perfect for clients recovering from injury, illness, or travel disruptions.
Expected outcome
The client’s unused package credits will now remain valid through the new date you set — giving them more time to use the sessions they've paid for.

Q: Can I do this for memberships too?
A: No — credit validity extensions apply only to packages, not recurring memberships.
Q: Will this notify the client?
A: No — but you can message them separately to confirm the new expiry date.
Q: Can I shorten the credit validity?
A: Technically yes, but we recommend only using this feature to extend credit windows.
