Class Cancellation Functionality

Use Case

  • As a team member I need to be able to cancel a class and have it appear as cancelled in the app and schedule so that my members know to select a different offering.

  • As a client I need to see cancelled classes in the listing so that I can select a different class.

  • As a client I need to be alerted to a class cancellation so that I can make a timely alternative in activity.

Feature details

Business users can now cancel a session rather than losing all data as they do when they Delete the session.

Cancellation allows for the session to be displayed as Cancelled and retain all information about the class for the business but block any further bookings from the client views. Clients will be able to see on their web or app view the classes and sessions that are no longer available due to cancellation. Clients who are signed up for the class, prior to cancellation or on waitlist, will be notified and refunded for credits lost as a result of the cancellation.

 

Digital Signature | Capture digital signatures for Package Agreements at Point of Sale

Use Case

  • As a team member, I need to be able to collect a signature for agreements at the time of the sale, so that the package can be available for immediate use.

Feature details:

In 'Retail Payments' when a new sale is transacted the business can elect to capture a signature digitally for the agreement and terms related to that Package or Membership. Previously all Agreements had to be sent to the client and the business would have to wait for them to agree to the policy and Terms after the transaction was completed.

To best leverage this feature the business should be using a touch screen device, though a computer with a mouse can be used as well, but the signature would be less authentic.

Digital Signature | Capture digital signature online for Package and Agreement sales sent via SMS

Use Case:

  • While purchasing a package, a studio may want their clients to sign the Package Agreement at time of purchase. The system needs to display on client’s mobile device the signature field along with the “I agree” checkbox for policies.

  • As a business owner I need my client to read my T&Cs and sign for their package agreement purchase on a mobile device, so that I know it is authorized and agreeable to the client.

Feature details:

At the point of sale, when a new sale is transacted, the business can elect to capture a signature digitally for the agreement and terms related to that Package or Membership. Previously all Agreements had to be sent the client and the business would have to wait for them to agree to the policy and Terms well after the transaction was completed.To best leverage this feature the business should ask the client if they prefer to review the Agreement and sign on their own smart phone/ device.

Dashboard | Broadcast SMS

As a means to allow business users more options in messaging and communications with their clients, we have expanded the communications feature on the business Dashboard to include the ability to send Emails, Push and SMS messages

Use Case

  • As a Business user, I want the option to send SMS to my clients, so that I may communicate important news.

Feature details:

Enhancing the current messaging feature located in the top of the location Dashboard, this feature expansion will allow Team members to compose and send an SMS text message to select members, groups or session participants. A key point to remember is that clients may opt out for communication options like SMS, push notifications and email, as such this feature will only send to those still Opted-In for SMS.

Suspension | Clients should NOT be able to book a class or a paid session during a suspended period.

Use Case

  • Clients should NOT be able to book a class or pay for a session (or general check-in) over their suspended period (between the begin and end date of the suspension)

  • Client should be able to make a booking for a period outside of the suspension period even within the suspended period. i.e. a client is currently on holiday in their suspended period and they return on Monday. They wish to make a booking for the Tuesday today and the system should let them.

Feature details:

  • If a Membership is suspended from January 6th 2020 to January 20th 2020 then the client should not book a session from January 6th 2020 to January 20th 2020

  • After the suspension period that is from January 20th onwards, the client should be able to book a class on all client facing system such as app or web.
